Unlike software made from code written by coders or AI (e.g. Generative AI) that mimics what coders do, intent-driven computing uses technologies that generate machine instructions for computing machines, literally bypassing programming languages (code). Any way of signaling intent (e.g. speak, type, gesture, drag-n-drop, etc.) is transformed into what computing machines do, often in real-time. It may also be used to process code as an expression of intent.
