What is xSpot?

xSpot is a patented software technology that cumulatively unifies all compute resources from various device types available on a local or distributed network.

In the classroom, office, the cloud and everywhere else, the possibilities for solving problems increases by orders of magnitude.

What problem does xSpot solve?

Combining compute resources involves a significant amount of engineering. The hardware [usually servers in large server rooms] must be configured for scaling and the applications must be designed to effectively use additional resources.

How is xSpot different?

Unlike physical or virtualization technologies that simply provision compute resources [most often cloud-based servers] through a process that requires knowledge of IT technology, xSpot cumulatively combines all compute resources from various device types available on a local or distributed network. No IT technology skills required.

How is xSpot deployed?

Simply download and install xSpot on all of your supported devices. Every app based on the Essence® Platform [called Aptivs] or any app that has a purpose-built Essence® integration package, can use xSpot to auto-scale, auto-tune, and auto-synch across multiple devices on-the-fly.
