WantVerses for Collections of Aptivs
At MindAptiv, we envision a future where the way that machines behave is largely consistent and personal no matter the device. Key to making that happen is making WantWare available on as many platforms (e.g. Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, tvOS, WebOS, Windows, PlayStationOS, Xbox OS, SteamOS, etc.) as possible. The Aptivs that we and others create will just work on every platform that we support, without modification. Once your personal WantVerse is set up, simply select Aptivs and WantVerses that you need from the WantWare Marketplace for fulfilling your wants. We anticipate launching WantWare Marketplaces (hosted by MindAptiv and our various partners) in 2024. Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement on pre-release opportunities.
The Foundation Set:
The foundation set of WantVerses (below) are required for every user of WantWare.
Origin.wantverse
Origin is the starting WantVerse filled with foundational ideas and abilities for all platforms. It includes all the foundation Ideas, Records, Actions, and SpaceTimes for interfacing between human and machine.
Essence.wantverse
A WantVerse that contains the default starting user experience and a series of additional experiences such as discovering what can be done, learning how things work for the curious or reviewers, inspecting metrics or browsing Aptivs, and accessing other WantVerses.
User-Style.wantverse
An individual users’ WantVerse of the style/design/terms/etc. and personal wants on a particular machine, not everywhere.
User-History.wantverse
A WantVerse storing the users’ past events.
The Platform Set:
The platform set of Agent.wantverses (below) are required for every operating system to run WantWare. Agent.wantverse is what we need to start running on any operating system. It is both the ‘application executable file’ and the local Essence Machine Agent.wantverse built live by assessing the machine’s active configuration of hardware, software, and other services.
All Agent.wantverses contain 8 packages of ‘hard-coded’ instructions that utilize a knowledge-database and supporting data that has been trained and tuned for the specific platform, its generic and unique features, and all the caveats that must be observed to optimally regenerate machine instructions, and to run and evaluate fixed code on the fly.
Agent Core Abilities

Bootup & Spawn
Operating System specific process-launching/thread-spawning or Hardware UEFI/BIOS specific or both for startup process (~1 msec startup).
Resource Accessor
Handles initial processor/bus/memory assessment and resource pooling.
User Setup
Identity Confirmation and Location Probing (find current user, their last Essence session, along with style, rules, and history).
Authenticator
Manages a variety of verifications, guards, and runtime trust-checks. Only handles the other 7 Powers and itself but does so natively at startup.
Instruction Maker
Matches streams of Essence Meaning Coordinates into foundation segments of hardware-machine code or emulation code for 1 or more boot-time chips such as CPUs, Bus-controllers, DSPs, Media-Codecs, and other chips available at startup or uniquely configured (SoC).
Executor
Handles connecting a series of ‘Code-Maker’ results with other Powers from other wantverses based on the platform’s prior runs and training/history data with ranges of scored (good/neutral/bad) results.
Referee
Manages issuing, assessing, and balancing various results of the Code Maker running across the currently available chip.
Terminator
Manages all shutdown or unrecoverable error states, blackbox logging, and cleanup issues specific to our Platform.
Agent.wantverses Under Development and Planned:
Agent.Android.wantverse
Although our initial focus will be on the Android distributions from Google, the Agent.Android.wantverse will be expanded to support additional Android distributions as we establish partners within the Android community.
Agent.iPadOS.wantverse
There is an Agent.wantverse for iPadOS, which is pending modifications required by updates that Apple has made to the iPadOS platform.
Agent.iOS.wantverse
There is an Agent.wantverse for iOS, which is pending modifications required by updates that Apple has made to the iOS platform.
Agent.Linux.wantverse
The Agent.wantverse supports multiple Linux distributions (e.g. Arch, CentOS, Linux Mint, Manjaro, OracleOS, Ubuntu, etc.). Once the Agent.Linux.wantverse is configured to handle the main root-distros, Aptivs will run on many Linux distros (estimated 20+).
Agent.macOS.wantverse
There is an Agent.wantverse for macOS, which is pending modifications required by updates that Apple has made to the macOS platform.
Agent.tvOS.wantverse
There will be an Agent.wantverse for tvOS. We will announce its availability through our website, social media, and other channels.
Agent.watchOS. wantverse
There will be an Agent.wantverse for watchOS. We will announce its availability through our website, social media, and other channels.
Agent.webOS.wantverse
There will be an Agent.wantverse for WebOS. We will announce its availability through our website, social media, and other channels.
Agent.Windows.wantverse
There is an Agent.wantverse for Windows. We will announce its availability and the Windows versions that it will support through our website, social media, and other channels.
The Developer Set:
In addition to the necessary foundation and chosen platform sets of WantVerses, the developer set of WantVerses (below) are required for every developer of Aptivs in order for them to be packaged and distributed to anyone or collaboratively developed with others. The Developer WantVerse is designed to elevate the quality, interoperability, performance, sustainability, security and trust in software and WantWare.
The Web Developer Set:
In addition to the necessary foundation and chosen platform sets of WantVerses, the Web Developer WantVerse (below) is required for every developer of Aptivs intended for the web in order for them to be packaged and distributed to anyone or collaboratively developed with others. The Web Developer WantVerse is designed to elevate the quality, interoperability, performance, sustainability, security and trust in software and WantWare.
